INTEGRA Metering is proud to be a partner of Industrielle Werke Basel (IWB) for the rollout of smart metering technology in the coming years. The joint rollout in Basel was launched in 2013 and will continue with INTEGRA Metering following the successful conclusion of the current tender.

IWB (Industrielle Werke Basel) is an energy and water supply company headquartered in Basel. The company supplies the region of Basel region with electricity, natural gas, district heating and drinking water. IWB endeavors to offer sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions, focusing on renewable energies and energy efficiency. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of IWB’s water network, IWB relies on the expertise and solutions of INTEGRA Metering.

IWB has relied on INTEGRA Metering’s expertise and products since the start of the rollout. To date, over 17,000 TOPAS meters have been installed in Basel’s water supply network using INTEGRA Metering’s system solutions and services. The products used are ultrasonic water meters in the dimensions DN20-DN50, in combination with the mobile meter reading software AMBILL Derago.

Many years of co-operation have led to an extremely successful and constructive partnership. The trust placed in INTEGRA Metering’s services and products is testament to their high quality, which has been confirmed time and again over the years. INTEGRA Metering and IWB are looking forward to continuing their 10-year partnership.
